Przemysław Furlepa
Przemysław Furlepa, Head of Retail Banking in Europe-Mediterranean area, BNP Paribas Group.
A graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice. He completed postgraduate studies at the Gdansk Academy of Banking, the Warsaw School of Economics and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He participated in numerous managerial trainings and workshops at home and abroad. He started his professional career at BPS Consultants Poland (Nielsen Marketing Research). Then, from 1994 to 1996, he worked as Head of the Analysis Team at the Securities Publishing House. From 1996 to 2002, he was associated with ING Bank Slaski, where he initially worked in the Controlling Department, in subsequent years he was a manager in the Department of Small and Medium Enterprises, managing the Corporate Client Market and Deputy Director of the Corporate Client Department. From 2002 to 2004, he was CFO and member of the Board of Directors at Alpinus S.A. (HiMountain). In 2005, he joined ING Bank Slaski as Regional Retail Sales Director in Katowice (and later in Gliwice). From 2007 to 2009, he was director of the Retail Department, and from 2010 to 2012 he served as director of the Sales and Quality Development Department. For the next four years, he was Managing Director of Retail Banking and was responsible for managing customer relations, segments and online banking. From January to July 2017, he served as Managing Director of Retail Banking and was responsible for managing Digital Banking and the Entrepreneur Segment. He was a member of international projects focused on building customer value through an omnichannel approach, increasing the quality of digital service offerings and working with fin-techs. From October 2017 until the end of 2023, he served as Vice President of the Board of Directors of BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. responsible for the Retail and Business Banking Area. In January 2024, he assumed the role of Head of Retail Banking in the Europe-Mediterranean area at BNP Paribas Group.
