Past-President of the Polish Society for the Treatment of Obesity, Vice President of the Polish Society of Cardiodiabetology; member of the Scientific Council of the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation, member of the Team for Counteracting Obesity established by the Council for Public Health at the Ministry of Health . Member of the Organizing and/or Scientific Committees of dozens of national scientific conferences on the subject of obesity and metabolic disorders. Repeatedly invited as a lecturer to conferences on the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of civilization. Author of more than 300 scientific publications in the field of obesity and its complications. Editor of the book “Obesity and its complications” awarded as the best university textbook in 2021.

Professor Bogdanski has been involved in the complex diagnosis and treatment of obesity for more than 20 years. He is spearheading a new communication about obesity disease that focuses on current scientific knowledge. In every action he emphasizes the dignity of the patient, he is an ambassador for patients and a visionary for the changes that are needed to stop the development of the obesity disease pandemic in Poland. Among other awards, he is the winner of the Health Visionaries Award in the category of Visionary Educational and Preventive Program and the prestigious Golden Otis trust award for fighting stereotypes about obesity treatment.
