He graduated from the Faculty of Management at the Poznań University of Economics and from the Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School in Barcelona. Since the beginning of his career he has been associated with the MTP Group, where he has passed through all career levels. He started as a salesman to become director of the trade fair (Polagra-Furnica), then director of the agri-food and wood products group. In 2007, he became vice president of the MTP Group’s board of directors to take over as its president in 2020.

Tomasz Kobierski has also held the prestigious position of Chairman of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry since 2020. He is also currently chairman of the Council of the Polish Tourist Organization and the CAVALIADA Tour Honorary Committee. He also served as President of CENTREX International Exhibition Statistics Union, an international organization dedicated to transparency and promotion of the exhibition industry. He also served on the prestigious Board of Directors of the UFI-World Association of the Exhibition Industry.

In 2022, he was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland for his outstanding contributions to the development of the Polish exhibition sector and his contribution to the development of the Polish economy.
