Mariusz Mielczarek
He is responsible for regulation and the public sector in Central and Eastern Europe. He is also chairman of the Digital Economy Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham). Prior to joining Amazon, he was a public sector executive at General Electric and Alstom. From 2004 to 2013, he worked in Brussels, serving first as director of the regional office and then as program manager for Poland at the European Commission (DG Regio). Before 2004, he was a team leader at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (Kosovo Mission) and an expert at the European Institute in Lodz, Poland.
Mariusz Mielczarek graduated in management from Linnaeus University in Vaxjo (Sweden) and in international relations and European law from the University of Lodz. He is also a graduate of the Stern Leadership Academy program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
