Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

An economist by education, he graduated from the Cracow University of Economics with a degree in statistics and econometrics. He has many years of experience in managerial positions on the boards of various companies and enterprises, especially in the energy, chemical and raw materials sectors. He is a management practitioner in the environmental and waste management industry.

As a manager, he has specialized in developing and implementing companies’ financial strategies, conducting capital investments, building and managing teams, business consulting and sales management. He also gained managerial experience in the construction and development market.

From 1998 to 2002, he was a Member of the Management Board of Ciech S.A., and from 2006 to 2015 he was Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of Restaura in Warsaw. From April 2018 to May 2023, he served as President of the Management Board of Eneris Surowce, Poland’s largest company in the waste management industry, where he led a comprehensive restructuring.

In September 2023, he became President of the Board of Directors at H2 Energy Kraków, where he led, located in the municipality of Górzyca, one of the country’s largest green hydrogen production projects with a generation potential of 1.5 GW.

As part of his professional development, he completed numerous trainings and courses, including the ICAN Institute Leadership Program, Project Management – IBM Poland, a course for candidates for chief accountants and a course for tax advisors, and participated in the ACCA course. He is one of the mentors at the Leopold Kronenberg Foundation.
