Manager with many years of experience in management, business consulting and finance. Until March 2023, Vice President of IATA in Geneva (International Airline Association), where he was responsible for the regulatory area and then for the environment and sustainability division, in particular for the decarbonisation and energy transition initiatives of aviation. Previously CEO of eSky.pl, Poland’s largest online travel agency, offering services in both Central Europe and ten international markets and, from April 2017 until the end of 2019 in Nairobi, CEO of Kenya Airways and member of the Supervisory Boards of Kenya Airways group companies, including regional carrier Jambojet, Tanzanian airline Precision Air and Kenyan-Dutch Cargo operator, KAHL. From 2009 to 2015, he was twice CEO of LOT Polish Airlines, where he prepared and executed deep restructurings, including the acquisition and approval of state aid. During this period, he also sat on the Supervisory Boards of EuroLOT and LOT AMS. Graduate of the Institute of Political Science in Paris, with a specialisation in economics and finance (SciencePo Paris). Since December 2023, President of the Polish-Japanese Economic Committee. Academic lecturer at Lazarski University, speaker and commentator on many economic events.
