Sasha Polakow-Suransky

Sasha Polakow-Suransky is a deputy editor at Foreign Policy. He was a 2015-2016 Open Society Foundations fellow and previously worked as an op-ed editor at the New York Times and a senior editor at Foreign Affairs.
Polakow-Suransky is the author of The Unspoken Alliance: Israel’s Secret Relationship With Apartheid South Africa (2010) and Go Back to Where You Came From: The Backlash Against Immigration and the Fate of Western Democracy (2017). He holds a doctorate in modern history from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
