BIO

Certified clinical sexologist PTS and certified CBT (cognitive behavioral) and DBT (dialectical behavioral) psychotherapist. She is passionate about human diversity and finding ways to support the mental and sexual health of neurodiverse people, people with intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities, as well as people who are gender and sexually diverse. She is involved in creating legal regulations that give these groups of people a chance to be heard and listened to.

She is a member of the Main Board of the Polish Sexological Society, a lecturer at the Postgraduate Studies “Clinical Sexology – Opinionating, Education, Therapy” at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and at the postgraduate studies “Clinical Sexology” carried out at the SWPS University.

She conducts workshops and trainings for people with intellectual disabilities, people on the autism spectrum, their teachers and parents on the subject of sexuality. She is the author of numerous publications on this subject, including the books: “I have autism. I have sexuality. And what next? A guide for parents, therapists and teachers”, “How to educate people with intellectual disabilities about sex? A guide for specialists”, “Maturation. Love. Sex. A guide for parents of people with intellectual disabilities” and many scientific and popular science articles, including “Interrogating witnesses with intellectual disabilities”.
She creates teaching aids useful in sexual education for people with special educational needs. She is the author of the educational packages “On maturation. Boys”, “On maturation. Girls” and co-author of the package “Getting to know and understand feelings”.
In 2017, she was awarded the title of Ambassador of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
