Michał Nogaś

Together with Wojciech Wlodarczyk, he prepares a cyclical program “This is what the world lived,” a presentation of the most important events of the contemporary world, based on radio archival resources.
Since 2000, he has been involved in culture at Radio Three. He was head of the Publicity Editorial Department. He co-founded the Radio House of Culture. On Friday mornings he talked on the air with Wojciech Mann about new books. He collaborated with Tygodnik Powszechny.
In October 2009 and in 2011 he became, for a two-year term, a member of the EBU’s Radio Culture Group. He is the first ever Polish Radio journalist to be appointed to this group.
He left Radio Three in 2016. From 2016 to 2024, he hosted video series on literature on Gazeta Wyborcza’s website, also worked as a journalist in the culture section, and was co-host of “8:10. The Gazeta Wyborcza Podcast.” From 2020 to 2024, he was also a journalist for Radio New World. In 2024, he returned to Polish Radio’s Program Trójka, taking up the position of deputy director of the radio station.
He is the author of the book From Not One Shelf, a collection of conversations with women writers from around the world (including: Mario Vargas Llosa, Margaret Atwood, Olga Tokarczuk, Annie Proulx, Swiatlana Aleksijewicz, Dorota Masłowska, Wiesław Myśliwski; Agora 2020 publisher).
