
Maciej Wróbel
Journalist, local government official, academic lecturer.
Graduated in pedagogy with a specialization in media education from the Higher School of Pedagogy in Warsaw. Professionally connected with the media for 18 years. For more than 10 years a journalist for Polish Television. Author of several thousand journalistic reports, reporter for TVP1 and TVP Info news programs, publisher and head of the “Information” editorial team at TVP3 Olsztyn. In 2017, he founded an Internet TV station in Olsztyn, at the same time working with the Nowa TV station, where he hosted the “24 Hours” magazine.
From December 2018 to May 2023, he served as deputy mayor of Kętrzyn. He also served as deputy director of the Provincial Traffic Center in Olsztyn.
Member of the Sejm of the 10th term. Member of the Sejm’s Culture and Media Committee and chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Media and Audiovisual Policy.
Winner of the BCC Sharp Pen, Rotary International Grand Prize, winner of the BBC Wales scholarship competition.
