BIO

Magda Linette is one of the most outstanding Polish tennis players in history. As the third-highest-ranked Polish player in WTA history, she stands alongside Agnieszka
Radwańska and Iga Świątek, securing her place in the annals of Polish tennis. Her
passion, determination, and unwavering resilience have made her an inspiration for young athletes, while her achievements symbolize the strength of Polish sports on the international stage.

Born on February 12, 1992, in Poznań, Magda began her tennis journey under the
guidance of her father, who was her first coach. Years of relentless hard work, consistency, and an unshakable belief in success propelled her to the top of the global tennis scene.

Her career is marked by numerous accomplishments, including three WTA singles titles and two doubles titles, proving her versatility and sporting excellence time and time again.

One of the defining moments of her career came in 2023 when she reached the
semifinals of the Australian Open, solidifying her place among the world’s elite. A year later, she wrote another significant chapter in Polish sports history by winning the 2024 Prague Open. This victory was not only a personal milestone but also a symbolic moment for Polish tennis, as it was the first-ever WTA final featuring two Polish players. By winning the decisive match, Magda highlighted the strength and growing potential of women’s
tennis in Poland.

Beyond her achievements on the court, Magda is a dedicated social activist and
advocate for a healthy lifestyle. In 2024, she established the Magda Linette Foundation,
aimed at supporting the development of young athletes, promoting healthy living, and raising public awareness about the importance of sports. The foundation organizes events
such as “Kids Day”; free educational webinars providing reliable knowledge, as well as
various initiatives, including sports workshops, mentorship programs, and charitable campaigns supporting youth and local communities.

She is also actively involved in initiatives that foster the development of sports in
Poland. As a public advocate, she supports the amendment of the Sports Act and
participated in the Ministry of Sport’s presentation of the “Poland 2040 Olympics” project, emphasizing the need for long-term infrastructure development and support for young talents.

Magda embodies determination, perseverance, and empathy. Her success on the court, combined with her social engagement, makes her a true ambassador of Polish sports on the global stage. As a role model for young athletes, she inspires action and proves that true success is not only measured in trophies but also in the ability to create a positive impact on the world around us.

Her indomitable spirit, passion, and commitment to social causes make her one of the most influential women in Poland. Her story is a testament to the fact that strength of character and dedication can lead not only to sporting triumphs but also to building alasting legacy for future generations.
