BIO

Professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation since 2012. Head of the Department of Pediatric Orthopedics and Traumatology since 2014. Head of the Children’s Rehabilitation Center since 2019. Head of the Gait Laboratory since 2002.

Employed at the Wiktor Dega Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Clinical Hospital of the K. Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznań since 1986. National Consultant for Medical Rehabilitation 2018 and 2024 – continued. President of the Section of Pediatric Orthopedics PTOiTr – currently- Polish Society of Pediatric Orthopedics 2014-2016 Founding member and President of the Polish Academy of Pediatric Disability 2022-2023.

Main scientific interests are: cerebral palsy, developmental hip dislocation, orthopedic and functional aspects of spinal muscular atrophy, surgical treatment of children with congenital bone fracture, the issue of painful hip in children, and biomechanics of the organ of locomotion and human functional development, robotic solutions in pediatric rehabilitation.
