Bianca Cefalo is the multi-award-winning CEO & Founder of Space DOTS Inc., a space tech startup pioneering in-space environmental intelligence to unlock safer, smarter, and commercially viable operations beyond Earth’s orbit.

With over 13 years of experience across spacecraft thermal engineering, deep tech sales, and public speaking, Bianca blends technical mastery with commercial strategy. She led next-gen telecom satellite innovation at Airbus Defence and Space UK and drove +97% revenue growth as Director of Aerospace & Defence at Carbice in Atlanta.

Holding an MSc in Aerospace & Astronautical Engineering, Bianca’s technical expertise spans spacecraft thermal control systems, hypersonic aerodynamics, microgravity science, and satellite remote sensing. She became the youngest Italian payload qualification lead on the NASA/JPL Insight Mars Mission, contributing to pioneering planetary science.

Her work features in scientific publications, and she’s a frequent keynote speaker at global conferences, advocating for innovation in advanced materials, transformative spacecraft design, and in-space data solutions. Bianca’s contributions extend across science and commercial missions for NASA, ESA, DLR, UKSA, and the EU.

In 2024, Bianca was awarded the prestigious Karman Fellowship, named Startup Entrepreneur of the Year at the Novi Awards, and recognized among the InspiringFifty UK for her impact on the global space industry.
