For more than a year, she has headed Too Good To Go in Poland and the Czech Republic – a social impact company and the world’s largest marketplace for surplus food management. Five years after its launch, the app is available in more than 700 locations in Poland, with nearly 4 million users and close to 8,000 active partners. She is working with more than 1,400 people, including 50 in Poland, for global success.
Anna is an experienced leader, passionate about people and business development with over 20 years of experience in building and managing organizations in the e-commerce, new technology and media sectors. She has been actively working with startups since 2016, and for the last 6 years has been involved in the food industry, including building Everli Poland and International, a company offering online shopping with fast delivery, where she served as CEO, as well as Chief Business International Officer.
For many years, she has been actively involved in initiatives for women, supporting organizations such as the Entrepreneurial Women’s Club, Vital Voices and many other initiatives striving for gender equality in business. She has received many accolades for her achievements, including in the “Strong Woman in IT 2023: Global Edition Report” and “Sifted 200+ female angel investors in Europe 2023” reports.
Podkowska-Tretyn’s main motivation is to scale the business and create an organization that leaves a lasting, positive social and environmental footprint for the sake of future generations. Privately, she makes conscious and sustainable choices striving to use natural resources sparingly. She was encouraged to use Too Good To Go by her daughter.
