He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Printing and Media Technology in India before starting his career as a production engineer at India Today. He later completed a Master’s degree at Chemnitz University of Technology and the Holst Center in Eindhoven, specializing in printed electronic components.

His professional journey includes contributions to OLED manufacturers Novaled and Cynora, followed by research at Empa (2015–2020), where he focused on flexible perovskite solar cells.

As CEO of Perovskia Solar, Anand has led the company to secure early adopter clients, raise $2.4 million in funding, and win second place in the 2022 Swiss Innovation Challenge. His vision is to integrate “solar cells into everyday devices,” driving both innovation and sustainability.
