Yevheniy Harkavyi has been CEO of PJSC “Centrenergo” since June 2024. His appointment came at a time when the company’s production had been completely destroyed. In the spring of 2024, the enemy destroyed both of the company’s thermal power plants. However, under his leadership, the team not only restored the damaged facilities, but also successfully adapted to new challenges, ensuring a stable energy supply under wartime conditions.

Yevheniy Harkavyi has worked for PJSC Centrenergo for more than 20 years. He began his career as a fifth-year student and went through all the stages of career development – from shift electrician to technical director of the power plant and later of the company. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, he held the position of chief engineer at the Trypilska TPP.

In 2023, after assuming the position of technical director, Yevheniy Harkavyi managed to restore the thermal power plant to its maximum operating capacity, which allowed the plants to resume stable operation. Both thermal power plants were destroyed by missile attacks in the spring of 2024.
