Honorata Hencel

Honorata Hencel currently holds the role of the Managing Director for Boeing in Poland and Ukraine. She is responsible for integrating Boeing Global commercial and defense activities in the region of 2400 employees and 4 locations. She represents the company’s interests in the government and industry meetings. She is also serving on the Board of Directors of American Chamber of Commerce in Poland and is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. She is also a Board Member at the Łazarski Aviation Academy in Warsaw, Poland.
Honorata joined Boeing in August 2015 as Global Navigation Services manager, supporting the Global Data Management Department in Gdansk.
Hencel is an accomplished technology and aviation industry and leader with 22 years experience leading large-scale multi-national teams working with airline operators, avionics manufacturers and software vendors in a highly regulated aviation domain. She is the Executive Sponsor for the Boeing Veterans in Europe and also served as the president of the Boeing Women Inspiring Leadership Europe chapter and co-founder of the regional aviation- cluster Aviation Hub Pomerania. In 2024, she has been awarded with the Distinguished Global Leader award by the Society of Women Engineers and INvolve YouTube 2024 Top 100 Women Executives title as well as international Strong Women in IT title in 2021 and 2023.
In her previous position, she was responsible for seamless delivery of Information Technology services for 8,000 employees in the Europe, the United Kingdom, Israel and Ukraine. In that role, Hencel was responsible for understanding business needs, shaping strategy, and ensuring delivery of programs supporting business growth and optimization.
Hencel graduated from the Economics Faculty at the University of Gdansk and E-Health Management in Rome Business School, and completed post-diploma studies in Staff Management at Gdansk University of Science and Technology, Airline and Travel Industries at the Greenwich School of Management London and Business, International Relations and Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
