Co-Founder, Managing Partner Trigon

Andrzej Sykulski, co-founder and Managing Partner at Trigon, CEE’s leading independent investment bank, also serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Trigon Brokerage House S.A. and heads the Investment Banking practise.

He began his professional career at Central Europe Trust, a British firm advising on the first privatizations in Poland. He has held the positions of CEO and board member in numerous companies operating in food, technology, telecommunication, insurance or media sectors. He was the CEO of BNP Paribas Corporate Finance Poland, a co-founder and board member of the investment bank MC Concordia (MC-BBL Group) and also served as a board member and CFO of Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa (ERA GSM) – the largest mobile operator in Poland at the time.

Throughout his career, he has completed over 70 transactions, including key privatization deals and public offerings crucial for the Polish economy and financial sector. His achievements include privatizations of Poland’s confectionery industry, privatizations and IPOs of Stomil Olsztyn and Stalexport, listing the first American company (IVAX) on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (2005), the IPO of Cyfrowy Polsat (2008), Poland’s largest leveraged buyout (Polkomtel 2011), or the sale of Polkomtel Infrastruktura to Cellnex (2021). Andrzej has worked with many private equity funds on investments in the CEE region, as well as with international corporations and leading private companies and leading Polish entrepreneurs.

He graduated with honors from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) (quantitative studies) and later completed MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (MBA) and postgraduate studies at Stanford University (SEP). He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
