President of the Management Board, Totalizator Sportowy
Beata Stelmach is President of the Management Board at Totalizator Sportowy, the national lottery operator in Poland. In this role, she draws on a distinguished career spanning diplomacy, finance, and industry to lead one of Poland’s most prominent state-owned enterprises.
Ms. Stelmach began her career during Poland’s economic transformation, playing a key role in establishing the capital market as part of the Securities and Exchange Commission. She later advised the World Bank on regulatory reforms in Ukraine and beyond. From 2011 to 2013, she served as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, overseeing economic diplomacy and the global promotion of Poland.
In the private sector, she led General Electric in Poland and the Baltics and served as CEO of PZL Świdnik, part of the Leonardo Group. She has held supervisory board positions at major financial and industrial firms, including HSBC Bank Polska, Bank Millennium, and KRUK S.A.
Ms. Stelmach studied Finance and Statistics at the Warsaw School of Economics and holds two MBA degrees—from INSEAD and the University of Calgary. She is also an alumna of executive programs at the New York Institute of Finance and Oxford’s Saïd Business School.
A recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Ms. Stelmach is a strong advocate for women’s leadership and corporate governance.
