Radosław Nielek

Engineer, doctor of technical sciences in the discipline of computer science, professor in the Department of Computer Networks and Distributed Systems at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. Graduate of Szczecin University of Technology, Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and postgraduate studies at Warsaw University. Author of about 100 scientific articles on artificial intelligence, information reliability, machine learning, automatic text analysis and cyber security published in prestigious international journals and conference proceedings. Permanent advisor to the Committee on Digitization, Innovation and Emerging Technologies of the Polish Parliament in 2012-2015 and 2020-2023. Served as R&D director, technology architect and product manager responsible for the development of innovative products in technology startups (including Vooom and Mudita).
He has served as R&D manager of research projects co-funded by Fast Track and Horizon 2020, and has held research internships at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Technische Universitaet Berlin.
Lead consultant and co-author of the “Strategy for the Development of the Information Society of the Silesian Voivodeship 2020+”.
