An economist and Head of Macro and Fixed Income Research for Central and Eastern Europe at Erste Group Bank. Juraj has over two decades of experience conducting a leading economic research in the CEE region and is a frequent speaker at international conferences, policy debates, and client events. He also serves as Member of the Council for Budget Responsibility in Slovakia.

His previous positions include Head of Research and Chief Economist of Slovenska sporitelna and fixed-income analyst at ING Barings in Bratislava. He holds a master’s degree in Economic and Financial Mathematics from Comenius University, completed leadership development programs at Ashridge Business School in the UK and IESE Business School in Barcelona and is a Marshall Memorial Fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
