Joanna Makowiecka-Gatza is an experienced manager with many years of practice in managing listed companies and capital groups in the industrial, infrastructure, and development sectors.

She has served as president, member of the management board, and member of supervisory boards, responsible for developing and implementing development strategies, improving operational efficiency, and comprehensive transformation processes.

With over a decade of experience as a CEO in Poland and on international markets, she has successfully carried out large-scale transformations, scaled up operations, and built long-term organizational value.

She was the president of the management board of Karmar S.A. (Bouygues Group), a member of the management boards of Polimex Mostostal S.A. and Budimex S.A., and also held managerial positions at Orange Polska, among others.

As chairwoman of the Polish Employers’ Council and a member of the Social Dialogue Council at the President of Poland, she actively participates in shaping economic and legislative policy in Poland, representing the interests of entrepreneurs and employers.

She also sits on the Supervisory Board of Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe (PEJ), participating in the development of key projects for the country’s energy security.
