Jacek Iljin

BIO
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Lodz with a degree in finance and banking. He continued his post-graduate studies, earning an EMBA from the University of Lodz, Towson University and the University of Baltimore. He also developed his managerial skills at the HPL and Advanced HPL programs at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland.
He has extensive experience in banking, primarily retail banking. In 2002, he joined mBank. He co-shaped the development of the institution from an innovative start-up, established under the wing of the then BRE Bank, to the position of one of the largest retail banks in Poland, with operations also in foreign markets in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Jacek Iljin is an experienced manager. During his career at mBank, he held various supervisory positions in mBank group companies and management positions in the areas of strategy, marketing, product management, sales and direct marketing and distribution model development. Most recently, as mBank’s Managing Director of Sales and Retail Banking Business Processes, he focused on business growth, digital transformation and building a distribution model that combines the strengths of digital channels and the people most valuable to each bank.
