President of the Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna
Mr. Dariusz Marzec is a graduate of Warsaw University, with a degree in organization and management. He has extensive experience in leading and supervising transactions and projects in the electric power sector.
Between 1995 and 2004, he worked in managerial positions at international consulting firms PricewaterhouseCoopers (1995-2000, 2001-2004) and Arthur Andersen Poland (2000-2001). From 2005 to 2007, he served as Vice President of Investment at Unipetrol a.s. (Czech Republic), responsible for, among other things, the preparation and implementation of the investment and organizational restructuring strategy and supervision of M&A projects in the group.
In 2004-2005, he was Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Treasury in Marek Belka’s government. From 2009 to 2013, he worked at KPMG Advisory, where he was the director responsible for the energy area in the Central and Eastern Europe region, as well as financial and strategic advisory services for companies in the energy sector in Poland.
From 2013 to 2016, he was associated with PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A., serving as Vice President for Development. Among other things, he was responsible for preparing and supervising the implementation of the PGE Group Development Strategy 2014-2020 and the PGE Group Investment Program. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A., PGE Energia Odnawialna S.A. and PGE EJ1 Sp. z o.o., as well as a Member of the Management Board of the Polish Electricity Committee.
From 2019 to 2024, he was a Member of the Management Board for Economic Affairs at Tramwaje Warszawskie.
