Chief Executive Officer, President of the Management Board, Veolia Group in Poland

Luiz Hanania is an expert in financial analysis, strategic planning and leadership, with experience in implementing complex transformation projects. He has been with Veolia since 2001. He initially developed his career in Brazil and France, and has been working in Poland since March 2006 as CFO and Member of the Management and Supervisory Boards of Veolia Group companies.

Since 2014, he has served as Group CFO in Poland, and since 2018 also in the Central and Eastern European region. In 2021, he also assumed responsibility for the area of operational efficiency, digital transformation and innovation in the Veolia Group at CEE Zone.

At the beginning of 2024, he became President of the Management Board and General Director of Veolia in Poland. He is a graduate of the Polytechnic University of Sao Paulo and Veolia Executive Seminar.
