Head of Institutional Relationship Management at European Investment Fund (EIF).

In this capacity, he assists private institutions, including pension funds, corporates, banks, family offices and foundations as well as public institutions to further develop the European risk capital markets through EIF’s equity instruments (venture capital, private equity, infrastructure, and private credit funds) and debt instruments.

Prior to his current position, Patric held the role of Head of Division for Innovation & Technology Investments (ITI) within EIF. With over two decades of dedication to the organization, Patric co-led EIF’s venture capital team, where he played an instrumental role in shaping the trajectory of EIF’s investment portfolio. Notably, EIF stands as the premier European VC fund-of-funds, boasting a management portfolio exceeding EUR 12b. This portfolio spans across 500+ VC funds, encompassing a diverse array of technology sectors, life sciences, and social & environmental impact ventures.

Patric embarked on his professional journey with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Luxembourg, where he honed his skills as an auditor and consultant within the financial sector. This early experience laid a solid foundation for his subsequent contributions to EIF and his career within the realms of innovation, technology, and climate action.
