BIO

An experienced leader in product management and digital transformation projects, with over 15 years of experience in finance and product and technology. She currently serves as Head of Product Management CEE at PayU, where she is responsible for shaping payment solutions, delivering business value in the form of new products and services, and creating the best possible customer and shopper experience.

In her career, she has always combined building customer value with business value. She has gathered experience in both the private and public sectors. Before joining PayU, Katarzyna held key management positions at Santander Bank Poland, Ailleron and the National Tax Administration. She was responsible for omnichannel transformation programs, mobile and online banking development, AI-based financial solutions for Asian countries and customer experience management strategies.

She has been recognized many times in the financial industry, receiving numerous awards for innovations in digital banking and payments. She counts the following awards among her greatest successes:

“The most important initiative of the cashless world in Poland in 2022”. – Cashless Congress, June 2023 for the implementation of BLIK in ePIT and eTax Office

“Digital Strategic Perspective” awarded as part of the “Digital Excellence Awards 2022” for the Multichannel Transformation Program “Customer Centered National Administration”

“Strong Women in IT” 2019 while working at Ailleron

“Best mobile application at Emerging Payments Awards” 2015 for Santander’s mobile application

“Mobile Trends Awards” 2014 for the best banking app

“The best Polish crowdsourcing platform” 2010 for Idea Bank

She always emphasizes that the awards she has received are a credit to the work of the many teams she has worked with, developed and strengthened. “The greatest value in my work is human beings – those for whom I build digital solutions, and those with whom I build them. I am guided by empathy, I listen, I create an environment for exchanging different opinions, I validate ideas, I rely on strong, substantive teams, collaboration and creativity. And then I enjoy the implemented products that customers simply like.”
