Izabela Rakuć-Kochaniak

BIO
She graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in Journalism and International Relations and from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a degree in International History. She also completed postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics (Public Relations) and Kozminski University (CSR).
She gained her first professional experience at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, as an international affairs specialist, then served as a spokesperson at the Energy Regulatory Office and as a project manager at Informedia Poland. She spent the next seven years at PZU, as director and CEO of the PZU Foundation, and from 2017 to 2024 was director and CEO of the Veolia Poland Foundation. At the end of 2024, she assumed the position of director of the ESG Department at Enea SA. She is also chairman of the board of the Enea Foundation – Community Energy.
An advocate of cross-sector cooperation, she is committed to integrating business, the public sector and NGOs to implement social projects and create solutions for a sustainable future. Promoter of a holistic approach and building lasting relationships based on trust and common goals, striving to develop solutions with a positive impact on the environment and society.
