Producer and director, founder and owner of Akson Studio A graduate of the Directing Department of the Theater Academy in Warsaw and a doctor of chemical sciences at the Polish Academy of Sciences. One of the most experienced and creative producers in Poland, director and founder of Akson Studio, one of the largest film production companies in Poland.

In addition to numerous commercials, documentaries, entertainment programs, and 152 television theater productions, Akson has produced over 40 television series and 35 feature films. As a producer, he has worked with the best Polish filmmakers, including Andrzej Wajda, Roman Polanski, Jan Komasa, Paweł Edelman, Piotr Sobociński Jr., and Michał Sobociński.

Michał Kwieciński produced Andrzej Wajda’s films – the Oscar-nominated “Katyń,” the Berlin International Film Festival award-winning “Tatarak,” and “Wałęsa. Man of Hope.” He also produced one of the most expensive films in the history of Polish cinema, “Miasto 44” (directed by Jan Komasa).

Michał Kwieciński has also produced well-known Polish TV series such as “Magda M.”, “Czas honoru” (Time of Honor), “Wojenne dziewczyny” (War Girls), ‘Szadź’ (Frost), “Gry rodzinne” (Family Games), and “Zatoka Szpiegów” (Bay of Spies).

He is also the director of many films and series, such as “Biała sukienka” (The White Dress), “Statyści” (Extras), “Tomorrow We’re Going to the Movies,” “Bodo,” “Love Is Everything,” and “Filip,” for which he received the Silver Lions award at the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia in 2022.

He is also the director of one of the biggest Polish productions, the film “Chopin, Chopin!”. It was awarded for best costumes and set design at the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia in 2025.
