BIO

Born in 1972 in Tarnów. He is a painter, illustrator, filmmaker, and comic book artist. He studied architecture at the Krakow University of Technology and graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. His works have been presented at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Polin Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Haus Der Kunst in Munich, Whitechapel Gallery in London, Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw (2007), and Kunsthalle Zürich. The artist is associated with the Foksal Gallery Foundation in Warsaw, Sadie Coles HQ in London, and Anton Kern Gallery in New York.
