Most recently, he served as Deputy Head of the IMF Strategy Team, where he oversaw the Fund’s cooperation with the International Monetary and Financial Committee and the G20.

Previously, he held senior economist positions in various IMF departments, participating in missions to Brazil, Croatia, Costa Rica, Portugal, Senegal, and the United Kingdom, among others. He also played a leading analytical role in key Fund publications such as the World Economic Outlook, Fiscal Monitor, and Regional Economic Outlook for Europe.
