She is one of the most famous women in the world of non-cash payments in Poland, but not only. She is a winner of numerous awards and honors, among which important are the titles of: The Most Influential Woman in the Payment Industry 2020 and 2021, as well as the latest – The Most Influential Woman in Poland, according to Home&Market monthly. The eService that she manages is the leader of the Polish market of accepting payment cards and the largest clearing agent in Central and Eastern Europe. As a part of the international EVO Group it is its European hub for IT, technology, management and product development. The company is growing fast and increases employment by as much as 20 percent annually. It already operates in 11 EU countries, where it supports over half a million payment terminals, for which it processes transactions worth up to PLN 300 billion per year. eService also provides modern payment solutions for eCommerce and mCommerce.
Joanna Seklecka is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and a PhD in Management. She completed the elite Stanford Executive Program run by Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She gained her first professional experience in the following industries: computer games, consulting and audit. She started her career in eService in 2004 as Director of Finance and Accounting Department. After seven years she became Vice President of the Management Board of eService S.A., a member of PKO Bank Polski Capital Group. There she was responsible for business and financial aspects of the Company's operations, and in 2014, she coordinated its transformation and entry into the NASDAQ-listed, international group EVO Payments. She became General Manager there and then, in October 2017, was appointed President of the Management Board of eService Sp. z o.o., where she is responsible for the entire CEE area of the EVO Payments Group. 
Joanna Seklecka's knowledge and experience were also appreciated by the members of the Committee of Settlement Agents, who, in January 2020, unanimously elected her as the Chair of KAR.  
Joanna attaches great importance to work-life balance. She likes to spend her free time with her loved ones, actively – skiing or riding a motorcycle. She also enjoys quiet time with a book or tending a garden.
