Secretary of State, Government Plenipotentiary for Renewable Energy Sources

He graduated from law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Wrocław and post-graduate studies at the WSB University in Wrocław. In the years 2007 – 2011 he completed legal training at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Wałbrzych. In 2011, he passed the legal adviser exam and was entered on the list of legal advisers.

From 2000 to 2006, he worked in the legal department of a large commercial law company in Wrocław and in the trustee's office, providing legal services to enterprises.

In the years 2006 to 2011 he was the deputy mayor of the city of Świebodzice. During that time, he was also elected twice as a city councilor.

From 2012 to 2015, he ran a legal adviser office, in which he cooperated with large business entities, including companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and acted in numerous trials as an attorney of natural and legal persons in the field of civil law and competition and consumer protection.

In the parliamentary elections in 2015, he was elected a Member of the Polish Parliament from the Wałbrzych district. In the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of the 8th term, he worked in the Committee for Energy and the State Treasury and the Committee for Local Government and Regional Policy, where he chaired the work of the standing subcommittee for regional policy. He also worked in the Infrastructure Committee and the Justice and Human Rights Committee. In March 2016, he was appointed a member of the Public Service Council to the Prime Minister.

Founder and chairman of the Parliamentary Mining and Energy Group, which in the 8th term of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland became a nationwide platform for substantive discussion and shaping opinions on the transformation of the Polish mining and energy industry, energy security, use of natural resources, fossil fuels and renewable energy sources, development of electromobility and modern technologies in the process of changes and shaping the Polish power system, including nuclear and distributed energy.

In the parliamentary elections of 2019, he was elected a member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of the 9th term.

Participant of the youth resistance movement in the times of the Polish People's Republic, member of the Law and Justice party. A fan of mountain hiking, Polish history and independence tradition.
