Secretary of state, Prime Minister's plenipotentiary for the promotion of the Polish brand

On 27 October 2021, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Andrzej Gut-Mostowy as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

From 17 August 2021, he served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Development and Technology.

From 19 November 2020, he served as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Development, Labour and Technology.

From January 3, 2020, he served as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Development. He was also Plenipotentiary of the Prime Minister for the promotion of the Polish brand.

Co-creator of the Polish Tourist Voucher program and many solutions included in the anti-crisis shield and tourist shield.

Graduate of Cracow University of Economics in the fields of tourism economy (master's studies) and regional economy (doctoral studies).

Member of Parliament of the Republic of Poland: 2005-2007, 2007-2011, 2011-2015 and the current term.

In 1998-2005 (2 terms), councillor of the Małopolskie Voivodeship. Among other things, he served as Vice-Chairman of the Commission for Physical Culture and Tourism. In the years 1995-1998, a councillor of Zakopane and a member of the Municipal Executive.

Vice President of the Tatra Chamber of Commerce in 2008-2014. He was also President and Board Member of the Małopolska Tourist Organization. He was a member of the Scientific Team of the "Study of Tourist Movement in the Malopolska Region". He initiated the creation of the Małopolska Tourist Organization by the Sejmik of the Małopolska Region.

In the years 2005-2009 co-founder and the first head of the Knights of Columbus in Poland, the largest Catholic charity organization in the world.

Since 2004 he has been an organizer of "Entrepreneurs from Podhale, Spisz and Orawa for Children" festivals in Rabka. For this activity he was awarded the Knight of the "Order of the Smile".

He comes from one of the oldest and most numerous families in Podhale, which has been engaged in tourism since the end of the nineteenth century.

Married, four children.
