BIO

Dobroslawa Gogloza is managing director of Pomagam.pl and founder of the Doing Good platform, which helps people find jobs in impactful industries and NGOs. She was the founder and long-time president of the Open Cages Association, an organization dedicated to protecting farm animals that has been recognized as one of the most effective in the world.

After moving to a technology company, she implemented a number of brand-building changes that now result in very high recognition among online respondents. Last year, Pomagam.pl’s social campaign received 3 awards from the Advertising Creators Club, including the top prize of Best of Charity. Pomagam.pl is now among the leading donation crowdfunding sites in Poland and the world.

Open Cages, an organization she founded and managed for 8 years, was recognized as one of the 4 most effective organizations in the world in its field. She managed the team that prepared the organization for the independent audit that resulted in this award. Otwarte Klatki became the only NGO from Eastern Europe to achieve such global recognition, and one of the few NGOs from Poland to successfully expand internationally (to 9 countries). Campaigns conducted by Open Cages have been covered by Reuters, BBC, The Times and Daily Mail, among others, as well as media from most European countries. The organization’s activities have contributed to the popularization of plant-based food in Poland, raising the status of farm animals in the political debate, and changing egg and chicken supply policies in many Polish and international chains.

She conceived and organized the international CARE (Conference for Animal Rights in Europe) conference, which was held in Vienna, Prague and twice in Warsaw. The conference achieved the status of a leading industry event in Europe.

She is a two-time recipient of a US grant from The Pollination Project, awarded to individuals and projects that contribute to building a sustainable and just world. Co-author of a handbook for animal action aimed at young activists, which has been translated into 5 languages.

She is a mentor and expert at EIT Food, Shesnnovation Academy, the Foundation for Effective Altruism and Natalia Hatalska’s Infuture.Institute.

She is currently developing the Doing Good – a platform for finding work that has a positive impact on the world – which has already built an engaged community and strong word-of-mouth around it.
