Michał Nowakowski
Michał Nowakowski is an employee of the Educational Research Institute and is the leader of software development in the project “Microcredentials – piloting a new solution supporting lifelong learning.” He graduated in law from the University of Wrocław and studied at the University of A Coruña in Spain. His specialization includes workplace competency development, microcredentials, and the use of new technologies in education. For the past 10 years, he has been conducting training in management, leadership, and motivation in the workplace.
Currently, he is developing the first Polish application for issuing digital badges in the Open Badges standard, known as Badge+. Michał has worked as a manager and expert in numerous national and international projects. He is a member of the Program Council of the Foundation for Intelligent Development, an expert of the Foundation for the Future Industry Platform, and a member of the Microqualification Team in Higher Education appointed by the Minister of Education and Science.
In 2022, he was honored by the Minister of Climate and Environment for his contribution to the development of the hydrogen economy in Poland. He is also a laureate of the List of 100 Wide Agreement for Digital Skills in Poland for the year 2023. Michał is fluent in Spanish. In his private life, he is interested in game theory, archaeology, and theoretical physics.
