Katarzyna Kamińska
Katarzyna Kaminska (d. Lukomska) is a lawyer with more than 10 years of experience in capital markets law with a particular focus on the activities of investment funds and the subject of securitization. In her professional practice to date, she has mainly provided legal services to investment funds, investment fund companies, depositories and investment fund portfolio managers and alternative investment companies.
Ms. Katarzyna Kaminska graduated with a very good degree in Law from the University of Warsaw, defending her master’s thesis on “Insider trading”; she is also a graduate of postgraduate studies in investment banking organized by the Warsaw School of Economics. In 2021, she completed her lawyer’s apprenticeship at the District Bar Council, and passed the bar exam in 2022. Currently, she works as a legal counselor.
She is the author of numerous specialized publications on capital market law and commercial company law.
In her professional work, she has participated in numerous inspection and licensing processes conducted by the Financial Supervision Authority, providing legal assistance to capital market entities. She also dealt with ongoing correspondence with the FSC regarding the activities of investment fund companies (including BION assessments), banks – depositories, fund investment portfolio managers and investment funds and alternative investment companies.
Since the end of 2022, she has been associated with the Office of the Financial Ombudsman, where she serves as Director of the Bureau, providing day-to-day support to the Unit’s Management and leading projects of strategic importance.
