Anna Pawlak-Kuliga
Anna is the global CFO of IKEA Retail, and she is also the first person from Poland in the global management structure of the group. Additionally, Anna is a member of the supervisory boards and committees of IKEA companies at the global level. Before taking her current position, she was the CEO and President of the IKEA Group in China.
During her tenure in the Chinese market, she led the largest transformation of the IKEA companies from a pure cash and carry model to a fully omnichannel model. She introduced an omnichannel ecosystem at IKEA, where own channels are supplemented by those of other companies, including partnerships with Alibaba Group on the Tmall platform and Tencent Group on WeChat. She opened new store formats, including the Store of the Future in Shanghai, and also created and developed the first global digital center for IKEA.
Before moving to the Chinese market, Anna served as Vice President and then General Manager of IKEA Retail in Poland. During this time, IKEA expanded its sales channels in Poland, established the IKEA Center for Businesses, and the Innovation Center for IKEA.
Beyond her work at IKEA, Anna engages in volunteer work; she was a member of the Advisory Board for Facebook Customers in Poland, and continues to be a member of the Advisory Board of the UN Global Compact, a Board Member of the European Chamber of Commerce in China, and an Advisory Board Member of the Executive Board at Kozminski University.
