Ziemowit Bagłajewski
Ziemowit is a lawyer with many years of experience. He has been serving as the Deputy Financial Ombudsman and has been a member of the Warsaw Bar Association since 2012. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw.
His main duty as the Deputy Financial Ombudsman is to initiate and organize educational and informational activities aimed at increasing financial awareness among the public, especially in the areas of financial market operations and the use of innovative technologies. Ziemowit Bagłajewski is also an expert in the organization and functioning of the financial market, as well as in legal regulations that shape the environment of this market. He represents the Financial Ombudsman as a permanent Member of the Payment System Council at the Management Board of the National Bank of Poland.
On a daily basis, he oversees the Banking and Capital Market Customer Department, whose scope of activities includes protecting clients of the banking and capital markets such as payment institutions, banks, financial institutions, investment fund companies, investment firms, and lending institutions. He also oversees departments of the Financial Ombudsman’s Office responsible for conducting extrajudicial proceedings to resolve disputes between financial market clients and these entities, as well as for advising on legal drafts concerning the organization and functioning of financial market entities.
