Chairman of the Board at Metropolis GZM – the very first metropolis in Poland. Coordinates the works of the Metropolis related to implementation of its statutory tasks i.e. socio-economic development, development and integration of public transport. He had previously held the position of the Deputy-Marshal of the Province of Silesia, where he had been responsible for issues related to e.g.: European Social Fund and Environmental Protection and Management. In 2003 he established WORKER sp. z o.o., one of the first employment agencies in Poland. In 2007 WORKER Sp. z o.o. was sold to an international investor. At the time of sale, the company made profits at the level of more than PLN 50 million, employed and posted nearly 3 thousand employees.
