Christina Hertel is Senior Program Manager for the EIT Health Accelerator program Gold Track, a high profile mentorship program for Healthcare startups. EIT Health is one of the largest healthcare initiatives worldwide, with a goal to sustainably advance healthcare and promote future conditions for healthier living and well-being of people across Europe. The consortium leverages the expertise of >140 leading organizations spanning key areas of healthcare to invest in and support entrepreneurship and innovation in this sector. Christina brings several years of experience from early stage investments in the biotech/medtech sector through her work with a German early stage investment fund. She later transitioned into the biotech company ImmunoQure, latest as Vice President for Project Management.
Christina studied molecular biology at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, obtained her PhD at LMU in Munich, Germany and worked as a postdoc at University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
