Dr. Adam Niedzielski, Ph.D.

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics in two fields: economics and quantitative methods and information systems. An expert in the field of public management. In 2003, he obtained a PhD in economics from the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

He started his professional career at the Ministry of Finance, he also worked at the Supreme Audit Office, the Ministry of Justice and the Social Insurance Institution. From November 23, 2016, he was the general director at the Ministry of Finance.

From July 12, 2018, Adam Niedzielski was the deputy president of the National Health Fund for Operations, and from July 18, 2019 – acting president of the National Health Fund.

By the decision of the Minister of Health of October 10, 2019, he was appointed the president of the National Health Fund.

On August 26, 2020, he was appointed the minister of health.
