Joanna Pawlak has worked in the advertising business for over 20 years with McCann Erickson as her first employer. She then joined TVP’s (Polish Television’s) Advertising Department as Head of Marketing. At TV Puls, she served as Head of the Sales and Marketing Department. She acquired professional experience also in the market research firm Gemius where she was involved in marketing communication. In 2004, she joined Wirtualna Polska. As Head of Marketing and Sales, she was in charge of the Company’s sales and marketing strategy. In 2014, she was appointed Vice President of the Management Board. One year later, she was elected Chairwoman of the Board of the Internet Industry Employers’ Association IAB Poland. In April 2018, she was appointed President of the WP Media Management Board. By the end of 2018 she received the Person of the Year title in the MIXX Awards competition.
