Robert Dwiliński
Director
At the University, he carried out research projects for GaAs semiconductors, SiC and group III metal nitrides. In 1999, he co-founded the AMMONO company specializing in the production of gallium nitride (GaN) single crystals, based on the original ammonothermal method, protected by many international patents.
From the moment of its inception until 2013, he was the president (CEO) of this company, which is a world leader in the production of the highest quality GaN substrates. The inventions developed at AMMONO, as well as the achievements in their commercialization, contribute to the breakthrough currently taking place in optoelectronics (GaN lasers and LEDs) and electronics (high-speed power transistors).
From 2014, Deputy Director of CeNT UW for Implementations (Center of New Technologies, University of Warsaw). At the same time, since 2015, Director of the University Center for Technology Transfer at the University of Warsaw.
He obtained his master's and doctoral degrees at the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw.
