Chairman of the Board

For 16 years he has been active in the field of cancer prevention and education. For over 2004, he has been the founder and honorary president of the Wygrajmy Zdrowie Foundation. He was the president of the largest patient organization in Poland: the Polish Cancer Patient Coalition. In 2012, he established the “Win ​​with Pain” Coalition, under which standards for the treatment of cancer pain in Poland were developed. In 2013, he established the Civic Alliance for Oncology, the purpose of which was to evaluate the functioning of the National Program for Combating Cancer Diseases. As part of the Agreement, he co-created Patient's Strategies for Oncology for 2015-2025 and pro-patient solutions for the oncology package, including oncology patient card, lifting limits, patient coordinator. In January 2015, he engaged the most important scientific oncology societies in Poland to jointly develop recommendations for the National Program for Combating Cancer Diseases. Member of the National Oncology Council established at the Ministry of Health. Since 2013, he is also an expert on immuno-oncology at the European Parliament. Honored with the St. Kamila in 2013 for many years of education in the field of oncology and the Foundation's achievements to date; honored with the Złoty Otis 2013 award. Honorary Wągrowczan of the Year 2015, Optimus 2017 Award from Employers of Poland, Health Leader Award 2018.
