Giacomo Volpi joined UniCredit 14 years ago – after a successful career in consulting business in The Boston Consulting Group – “Strategy, planning and control” department of Central Eastern European Division. In 2008 he became director of the “Strategy, planning and control” department of UniCredit Bank in Ukraine.

In 2010 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Ukrotsbank, part of the UniCredit Group in Ukraine. In this position he coordinated the activities of accounting, tax, strategy, planning, control, capital management and management of assets and liabilities.

From 2016 and until 2018 he was CEO and Chairman of the Board of UniCredit Consumer Finance in Bulgaria.

From January 2018 Giacomo Volpi is Head of Retail Banking of UniCredit Bulbank.
