BIO

Rafał Brzoska is a Polish inventor and entrepreneur, serving as the founder and CEO of Integer Capital Group – Europe’s leading e-commerce delivery platform. Additionally, he is a business angel and co-founder at bValue VC and InovoVC. Rafał holds membership in Corporate Connections Global, a network uniting owners of companies with annual revenues of at least €106 million, including representatives of the Forbes 100.

Rafał is the visionary behind InPost, the flagship company of the Integer Group, which has transformed Poland’s parcel delivery market. In 2006, he decided to challenge Poczta Polska, the state-owned postal monopolist, which was the sole operator allowed to deliver letters weighing less than 50 grams. InPost introduced envelopes with small pieces of metal (approximately the size of a credit card) attached to reach the minimum weight. This innovative approach, coupled with competitive pricing, enabled the company to establish a substantial customer base.

The company achieved a significant breakthrough with the introduction of parcel lockers in 2009. InPost boasts the largest and most convenient automatic parcel pick-up and delivery network in Europe, comprising 67 logistics centres and over 66,000 parcel locker sites and PUDO points across nine countries (Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the UK). In addition to parcel services, InPost offers courier and fulfillment services to e-commerce sellers in Poland. In 2023 alone, the company handled an impressive 892 million parcels.

Rafał’s ambition has always extended beyond the borders of his home country, aiming to create the most significant Polish business success story on the European stage. In July 2021, InPost acquired the French logistics giant Mondial Relay for €513 million, marking the largest and most significant Polish private investment abroad. This strategic move allowed the InPost Group to enter the French, Iberian, and Benelux markets. The company’s listing on EURONEXT-Amsterdam in the same year constituted the largest debut for a European technology company in the continent’s history. In July 2023, InPost acquired a 30% stake and voting rights in Menzies Distribution Group Limited for £49.3 million, establishing a partnership with a leading logistics company in the UK and Irish markets.

Beyond his business pursuits, Rafał actively engages in charity work, considering it one of the fundamental pillars of 21st-century business. Since the onset of the full-scale war in Ukraine, he has been actively involved in assisting Poland’s eastern neighbor. On his initiative, InPost provided hundreds of trucks carrying more than 8,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid. Rafał also orchestrated the Convoy of Polish Hearts, a 34-car train destined for the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, representing the largest privately funded humanitarian transport initiative.

Rafał’s second philanthropic priority involves supporting the development of young, talented, and hard-working individuals facing limited educational opportunities due to their background, economic status, and social situation. The Rafał Brzoska Foundation Scholarship Fund provides aid and assistance, enabling gifted young people to pursue studies at the best universities worldwide.
