Director of product development and new payment platforms in the Central Europe region, Mastercard Europe.

Damian Zielinski is responsible for the development and implementation of Mastercard’s key product development strategy in 11 countries in the Central European region (Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Greece, Malta, Cyprus).

Damian joined Mastercard in 2012 as a consumer products sales expert. He then took on the position of director of product development and new business in Central and Eastern Europe, actively working with the fintech sector, among others.

Over the course of his career, Damian has accumulated a wealth of experience in the areas of sales, product development and management, and implementation of new payment methods, among others, working for leading international companies in the financial industry, in addition to Mastercard, HSBC and Citibank, among others.

Damian holds a degree in management and marketing from the University of Warsaw. In 2022, he graduated from the Leadership Academy for Poland, organized by the Center for Leadership.

In his free time, Damian enjoys team sports, including volleyball, backpacking off the beaten track and learning to brew good coffee.
