Director of the Mother and Child Institute. Professionally: gynaecologist, obstetrician, perinatologist. Graduate of postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) at the Faculty of Management of Healthcare Organisations and MBA in Medicine.
Author of numerous scientific publications, books and articles in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology; speaker at numerous congresses/conferences at home and abroad. Member of, among others, the Polish Gynaecological Society, the Polish Society of Perinatal Medicine, the Polish Society for Coordinated Health Care, the Government Population Council, elector of the General Council of Research Institutes and member of the Expert Council of the Patient Ombudsman and the Council’s team for hospital management. As a member of the PARPA Expert Panel, he participated in the development of recommendations on FAS (published in 2020) and is currently a member of the Regional Expert Panel of the FAR SEAS Research Project. He sits on the Social and Business Council of the Vistula Academy of Finance and Business, part of the Vistula University Group. He has also served as a member of the Expert Council of the Healthy Life Project since June 2022. The Healthy Life Project is a unique endeavour combining the involvement of four institutions: Ministry of Health, Ministry of National Assets, National Health Fund and PZU S.A. under the Honorary Patronage of the Presidential Couple.
