Doctor of Economic Sciences, Director of the Digital Services Department at PKO Bank Polski.

Associated with PKO Bank Polski since May 2010, when he took the position of Director of the Innovation Office. During this time, he was responsible, among other things, for the revitalization of School Savings Banks – the oldest and largest financial education program in Poland, and the introduction of the first bank account in Poland for children under 13 years old. He was responsible for the concept and launch of the project to create a mobile payment application and mobile banking called IKO. Since July 2014, as Deputy Director of the Mobile and Internet Banking Center, he was responsible for the development of services and sales in the mobile channel and the development of e-Government and e-Identity services. Since March 2018, as the Director of the Digital Services Department, he is responsible for the sales and development of PKO Bank Polski’s digital channels, added services, and remote identity verification services.

He was an adjunct professor at the Institute of Journalism, University of Warsaw. Until May 2010, he was an analyst at Bankier.pl SA, co-founder, and vice-president of the Financial Advisory Firms Association. Founder and long-term editor-in-chief of the financial service PRNews.pl and Financial Review of Bankier.pl.

Winner of the Marian Krzak Journalism Award in 2007. Journalist of the Year 2008 according to the Electronic Economy Congress at the Polish Bank Association. In 2016, in recognition of his significant contributions to the construction and development of the banking sector, he received the Nicolaus Copernicus Medal from the Polish Bank Association. For his contribution to the development and promotion of safe and reliable solutions in remote banking and electronic identity verification, he received the special award named after Prof. Remigiusz Kaszubski for the year 2019. By the decree of the President of the Republic of Poland dated June 4, 2019, he was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit for his services in social activity and contribution to the development of banking.

Author of the book „Public Relations in Virtual Banks” and numerous scholarly and journalistic articles. Speaker at many scientific and industry conferences.
